This week there has been 1 planned update published by Microsoft giving administrators the option to change the link types in OneDrive for Business and SharePoint.
New feature: Default links for sharing

Default links is a new feature for OneDrive for Business and SharePoint online. Microsoft will be gradually rolling this out to First Release customers in August, and the roll out will be completed by the end of the month. Worldwide rollout is expected to begin at the end of August and complete the by the end of September.
In SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business today, the “Get a link” commands returns anonymous as the default link choice (at which point users can choose a different type of link if required). This feature allows the SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business tenant admin to customize what the “default” link is when a user clicks “get a link”. The admin may choose either direct, internal or anonymous access links.
This has administrative controls to enable and disable. Anonymous Access is the default choice (unless anonymous access links are disabled in which case internal is selected). Please click Additional information to learn more.
